Belts squeaking badly need help!!

ok well i just drove my car up to portland last night and when i get to my exit i start slowing down my belts start squeaking badly and wont really stop they do it at all rpms i felt the belts and they all seem pretty tight and should be no more then 10,000 miles on them. what could be wrong? could it have anything to do with me pushing the car hard when i was racing the acura TL?

yeah, it could have to do with the pushing it hard. you could also have a bad pulley. Did you change the belts yourself or did someone else do it? are they oem belts or aftermarket? if they are aftermarket, then hey it happens.

would a pulley be hard to fix? i dont know to much about motors im a body guy. and someone else did the belts and idk if they are oem or aftermarket but i think they might be oem. well i just went out and looked at it and i found out that the back of the belt has oil on it. that would be whats causing the squeaking right? is there a way i could clean the belt or would i have to get a new belt?
