Clutch and Flywheel Options

First let me say hi to every one here and thanks in advance for your help on this. I just bought a 90si and the throw out bearing is rattling like crazy and I am gonna swap the clutch and prolly the flywheel with a lighter unit. I have looked at the lsd clutch kit because I searched on here and it looks from posts to be a good kit. I see it being suggested for a clucth and flywheel kit but when I go to there webpage I dont see it listed for our cars? Am I missing some thing or do I need to call them to get my hand on the clutch kit and flyweel? Again thanks for your help guys.
PS,
I will have some pics of my car on here very soon it has ZERO rust and 100% gloss paint 5 speed SI I got it for a steal of a price. I am a long time Dsm owner and I must say I love the smooth trans and nice ride on this car!

Re: Clutch and Flywheel Options

call LSD motorsports or send them an email.

If i had to do it all over again, I would get their 12-15lb flywheel with an OEM Daikin/Exedy clutch kit.

You can also opt for a 2nd generation Integra flywheel, which needs a little modification to work...http://mustardcat.brinkster.net/p3g/...hflyinto88.htm

My friend has a Fidanza lighten flywheel, so you have some options, lol.

Re: Clutch and Flywheel Options

Yeah dude i think im just gonna try and find a reputable machine shop & see if they can lighten my stock flywheel. i read about some guy that got a shop to do it to his and hasnt had any problems. i think he said his stock fly weighed like 22lbs or something and he got it lightened to 16lbs and he said there was a big difference i'll see if i can find it and post it up.

EDIT: heres the Article i read about just gettin a stock fly lightened

Re: Clutch and Flywheel Options

Yup, the revs are generally faster, and they drop faster too.
