Icon7 My new '91 Cita Manual (PICS) + suspension question

Hi guys,

I've just picked this beauty up, and I'm very happy!

She has done 230ks but is in very good condition mechanically. However the suspension is pretty old and bouncy so I want to replace it with the best, reasonably comfortable, setup I can get. I am new to the suspension game, but have been doing a lot of research.

I have been able to find a pair of front Koni Yellows, but no rears. This is what I am thinking of going with; let me know what you think in terms of performance and comfort:

Front: Koni Yellows (softer setting) with Ground Control coilover conversion kit springs. Spring rates slightly higher than stock. Approx 1" drop.
Rear: Tokico Blues with with Ground Control coilover conversion kit springs. Stock spring rates. Approx 0.5" drop.

Re: My new '91 Cita Manual (PICS) + suspension question

Nice lude! Congrats on finding such a nice one.

I have no experience with Koni or Tokico or Ground Control springs. I've used Neuspeed springs with stock shocks and wasn't even a little impressed with the ride and handling. I have more experience with K-sport Kontrol adjustable coil overs. The ride and handling was far superior to the Neuspeeds. 32 settings allows you to get the damping exactly where you want it, and I could set the ride height where I wanted it, and could change it whenever I wanted. Only issue with that is you need to align it after changing the ride height, but I only changed it once the 5 years I owned that car. I've been thinking about getting a set for my current lude but I'm not sure I want to drop another $900 or so on them in addition to the rear sway bar I am currently buying.
