89 honda prelude not starting Help!

Hey everyone! I have a 89 Honda prelude 2.0 si and I cannot get it to start, I had to change the head gasket and i also had the cylinder head checked for warp age. I got it all put back together and took it to a shop to have it timed and I got it back and it wont start at all, It cranks but wont start. I checked the plugs to see if they were sparking and they are all working and it's getting gas. It frustrates the hell out of me and i don't know what to do i'm not taking it to a mechanic, if someone could give some advice that would be great. Thanks in advance!

Check the compression. The fact that you had the head off worries me a little. If the timing belt wasn't installed correctly you could have bent some valves when attempting to start it if the belt is off by a few teeth.

I had a shop time it and When i put the timing belt on it i made sure it wasn't to bad off. I never attempted to start it after replacing the head gasket because i didn't want to damage anything. when i turn the key on should i hear a clicking sound from the dash? because i don't hear anything. Only the fuel pump priming itself.
