production numbers for my yellow si

Anyone know of how many of my yellow 88' si's were built? Can't find any information on production numbers specified by color.

Re: production numbers for my yellow si

Don't think Honda even knows. If they do they aint saying it anymore.

All I can say is 'not many' compared to the red or black ones. But probably more than the Robocop blue w/ robin egg interior.

According to the paint code thread here in the general talk section Barbados yellow was an 88,89&90 color. Before seeing that I thought it was on an 88 or 88/89 color.

Yeah mines an 88'. It's my first one and I will say the quality of metal on these are way better compared to my EF civic/crx's.

Well of course it is, it was a prelude so it was pretty expensive for its time, which means a better built chassis.

Right on! There will always be a place in my heart for my Crx but not like this 3rd gen lude. I wish I would of driven one of these earlier on. Awesome lil car and turns more heads than my Rex .

I know amongst us 3rd genners we sort of take it for granted, but our chassis very rare these days, and due to it not being on the top 10 modified import lists no one ever really looked at it.

Now with all the civics/integras/CRX's that have been done, people are beginning to look at picking up a 3rd gen to be different and not realizing that this chassis was way more different than any other Honda of its time at still til this day.

It was an amazing feet by the designers to me a fun car under $25,000 for its time and be a 4 cylinder at that.

With a motor swap or a turbo this car really comes alive.

I really like the road and track article where it beat a ferrari and vette in the slalom.
