Icon5 CAI Air Filter Replacement

Hello Everyone,

I was looking to replace the air filter on my CAI (91 Si) and wanted to know what brands people have tried and liked? My setup for my CAI is what I found on

www.prelude3g.com. I was pushing toward an AEM CAI air filter replacement? Anyone try of these and if so which one?

Thinking of using AEM 21-202DOSK DryFlow Air Filter with AEM 1-4000 Air Filter Wrap?

Thanks for the help

Do you have any pics of your intake? Why are you replacing the filter? You can clean and reuse many of them.

Basically you want to replace it with the same size filter that it's replacing. On a CAI, I generally like to go with the biggest filter that will fit the space, and still be able to easily remove it for maintenance. Brands are not that important as long as you stick with something reputable like like AEM or K&N. I use K&N on my intake. And make sure the filter is one that you can clean and reuse, and pick up a filter cleaner kit (see link below).

Re: CAI Air Filter Replacement

I like the 'doesn't rust' feature of the K&N. And being old school have always preffered the K&N stuff anyway. If it's good enough for those giant turbo charged Tonka Toy trucks at rock quarries, it's certainly good enough for my jalopy.

My son's AEM looks horrible. Rust.
