You mean the sawblade ones with centercaps? I have two in the back yard but you could just Google it under images.

Re: pic request: lude w OEM Honda wheels

I've seen pics of 3rd gens with fat 5's and with 99 Si (Civic) wheels over on the other forum. Either of those choices look awesome IMHO. I'm still kicking myself for not hanging onto the 99 Civic Si wheels I had.

I'm not sure what Del Sol stockers look like so I'm not sure if I've seen those on a 3rd gen. Try Les's suggestion of googling and then looking at Images.

Re: pic request: lude w OEM Honda wheels

Its 0'degree here in buffalo NY. Just curious how the prelude looks w OEM wheels...I have like 5-6 different sets of OEM wheels just can't find pic samples on google image. Only found the 99' Si wheels on a prelude. I have stock del Sol Si wheels, 99' civic Si weeks., 2004 civic ex wheels, 85'mr2 pizza cutter alloys, fatfives and stock steelies. Just picked up this 88' prelude Si and undecided on what wheels to roll with....oh I have 2000 miata alloys too.

3 feet of snow and 11degree. You must not be from the tundra...

Buffalo is not the Tundra. The Tundra still has snow from 1847....

Re: pic request: lude w OEM Honda wheels

Not like here. Are you familiar w western NY at all? If not you may have seen the storm on the news...We had that 7ft of snow in two days in November. 13people died literally down my street from me. They also dump salt(literally) on the roads everyday between Nov 1st-mid April. Constant lake effect snow accumulating 2-3feet of snow on a weekly basis in -3to15degree weather. If you don't have a heated garage you ain't working on sh*t until mid April. It isn't a case of just throwing a jacket on and going outside to face the elements like a man.

Re: pic request: lude w OEM Honda wheels

There's a store here in Georgia called Summit right down the road. They have a computer that'll show a pic of any car and you can change the color and add any rim to see what it looks like. Any size wheel and it even lets you change the ride height. I was wondering if there's a WEB site that allows that.

Re: pic request: lude w OEM Honda wheels

I lived in Hartford, CT for almost 5 years and yes, the weather was atrocious. Although as a true gear-head I never let the weather dictate what I did to my vehicles. It does make it a bit more difficult to accomplish some things but anything is doable. So yeah, man up. Layer up properly, do some shoveling if necessary and just do it.

Yeah I'm familiar with New York and snow and cold weather and all that...
And realize it's harsh there.

Don't hold back bruh! Tell us how you really feel.

Can't say I'd prefer changing the oil in those conditions vs summer. But if I had a buncha wheels laying around and was curious how they'd look on my car, I think I'd rather get out a shovel and do the look see thing vs asking a bunch of strangers to post some pictures for me, then act like I'm some kinda victim of the weather when I haven't even tried to help myself first.

That is pretty nasty. Although you obviously have had these wheels and the car before the snow hit. Shame Shame...procrastination got ya. Now it looks like a spring thaw for you. Good luck.

I'm from Mass. You could use a shovel like we did. We used to shovel off the Cranberry Bogg just to play hockey when we were kids. Different generation I guess.

We shoveled out dump truck amounts of dirt from a concrete ditch one time so we could skate it. Had to cut down trees first....local fuzz were like 'wut-the-hell are you kids doing?' and left us alone at first...
It was outside...and in the summer..I know, I know, it was hot...but for like 3 weeks a few fellas worked all day to get it clean not knowing if it was possible to skate it or not. Urethane wheels were new. There was no video, no dog town z boys articles. Just a few crazy kids with plastic truck skateboards who wanted to see if you could surf on concrete. I was like 12.
Holy cow! BROOM DAY? The world I knew changed that day(along with the shape of several of my bones)...and the cops began hassling us. We still showed up day after day. Shoveled snow in the winter when necessary. And eventually the cops left us alone. Heck, one old lady nearby used to shoot at us with rock salt from a shotgun. Didn't stop us....

Pft, there's a Golden Corral over it now. Next to that is a pristine but full of dirt concrete ditch...that's never been skated since it was built in the mid 90's.
