Need part: Top Dead Crank Shaft Sensor

Hi everyone, posting for first ime on behalf of my father (computer savvy he is not):
In need of a Top Dead Crank Shaft Sensor part #37841-pk2-026. EVERYWHERE I go the part is discontinued. Car is a 1991 si 2.0 (maybe 2.1?? engine was replaced years ago so my father really doesn't remember and I have no idea and never knew engine was replaced...his mind is a little fuzzy though). Anyway, anyone know where I can find a part? his mechanic sent him looking for parts, and us digging in junk yards isn't an option.
Thank you.
Ted

Car-part.com is a worldwide junkyard source.

And you can call your local yard to enquire if they have one and if they'll pull it for a fee.

But first look on the block on the passenger side for type of motor. It'll say for example "B21A1" with some other numbers that don't matter in this case.

^^ honda parts now.com says they have them
Call them to ensure they do. Their number is listed on the 'contact us' page.

Re: Need part: Top Dead Crank Shaft Sensor

Thanks for the response bykfixer! We actually ordered the part online from hondapartsnow.com only to get a return message the day after that they did not have the part as it was discontinued. ALL of the online Honda parts stored were contacted directly and they all say the same...discontinued. Hoping the junk yard route is a last resort.

Re: Need part: Top Dead Crank Shaft Sensor

It doesn't matter if it's a b21a1 or a b20a5, they both use the same part in this case.
