water pump pulley?

I own a 1987 prelude 2.0 si. Yesterday I was driving and I heard some metal clanging on the left side of the engine. I then noticed my battery light came on...something with the alternator I guessed. I got it towed back to my apartment and come to find out a pulley had snapped off. Bolts are still intact on water pump so I would just need to find a new pulley. My question is, does anyone know where I can get or find a new pulley for the water pump? I live in McDonough Georgia. Thanks ahead of time. 87 Prelude is a 2nd gen. I'm not at all familiar with 2nd gen engines, but on 3rd gen engines, the water pump is driven by the timing belt. I assumed 2nd gen's were the same way. That looks more like a power steering pump pulley. Can you post pics of your engine bay?

I think I have a spare power steering pump pulley if you can't find one locally.

Yup, that's a 2nd gen. You're definitely right about that being a water pump pulley. I would suggest you search local junkyards, ebay, part out threads in Prelude forums, or car-part.com.

I'm here in Fayetteville, Ga. Couldn't find any on the 3 pull aparts here and the local stores don't carry it. Got a secret j-yard I go to in Palmetto. Pick a part. Last time I was there there were 3 of them. Might go there in the morning. Otherwise e-bay or maybe Summit which is in your town. Just hope it's the same size as the carbed.

Got your pulley this morn off a near mint red 1987 lude 2.0. Also got one off an early 80's 2 door accord with a A20A1 engine carbed. They are identical. I hid one just in case. Sent you a private message so call if you want it. Gotta help out the locals in need.

I was wondering if his front water pump bearing froze up to make it snap.I'd spin the pump just for piece of mind first.

He said his pump was flopping up and down real bad but didn't freeze up.
