Re: 3rd gen parts

I can see that.

Member Sideswipe recently said "an idle project becomes an abandoned project" or something like that.
And I guess the last thing you want or need is the be reminded of the crazy ex you didn't have the pleasure of running over...

I guess I'm lucky. I start plucking the wife's nerves and she says "don't you need to fix your Prelude?"

Re: 3rd gen parts

Maybe you can be the exception Static.

I know how op feels. I lost interest in two last year. The only reason I haven't gotten rid of my 97 is because just when I think Ima sell it something breaks. Then I don't wanna sell it after sinking another $500 into the car/money pit.

Re: 3rd gen parts

As do I in mine. Buying parts keeps me serious about the rebuild. I have to force myself to buy parts. But it's better than buying we'd since I'm left with something to show for it.

Re: 3rd gen parts

Lol yeah garage was so full and no space and I hadn't been working on it since moving into my new place last august so I finally decided to part. I still have love for my lude though.
Funny thing is I got in there started taking stuff off and after the initial sweat I was like man I could finish this car, but I had already sold a few things so I was like nah its getting parted. :( Damn Women lol

Yo Nero. Do you have a good fuel pump in that?

Unfortunately I think the pump is bad. I was having intermittent starting issues with the fuel system. pretty sure it was due to the pump

Did you do any troubleshooting to determine that? I would actually be more suspicious of the main relay than the fuel pump. Most issues with the fuel system can be attributed to the main relay/cracked solder joint problem, especially intermittent ones.
