Clutch: Hydraulic or Cable
Hey my car just crapped out on me. The clutch doesn't have any pressure at all and so i cant change gears. I called a transmission shop and they told me I should try adjusting the clutch cable. So my first question is, is the clutch hydraulic or run by a cable? my second question would be where do i find it. hehe. Thanks in advanced :D

what year model is ur car to start off with. 92+ is hydrolic i believe

ok so urs is hydrolic afterall. so u will have to bleed it. and see what happens

 Yes, our system is hydraulic. I think after you see this thread: http://www.preludezone.com/showpost....83&postcount=5 You should highly look into buying either a new: clutch master cylinder -or- clutch slave cylinder -and/or- a clutch hose. See if you are leaking any fluid around the clutch pedal itself, or inspect the slave cylinder for leakage.

i have a 88 si, its a hydrolic clutch... i dont think it is a mod either, so if you dont have pressure, then check your fluid and after that check your lines...

How can i tell if this is the problem for sure and not becuase the clutch itself... because my dad doesnt believe me

Yeah, I'm finally putting my car back together and about to get it back on the road, and I've got everything running, and I took the clutch line off to inspect it for leaks...and it's fine.
I put it back on, and I have no clutch pressure, and my slave cylinder is fine. ? Help?

ok so I plan to bleed the clutch line but i cant seem to find the slave cylinder and it's driving me nuts!

How to bleed the clutch system
So we're having trouble locating the slave cylinder & the bleeder nipple.
Here's some pics i just shot, literally 5 mins ago for the 3rd gen faithful:   In diagram 7-9 in the online manual - Official 3rd gen Resource Thread it shows you the location of the slave cylinder.  This is a mini-guide: http://www.preludezone.com/showpost....83&postcount=5 Yup, and the engine is off during this whole time  Let us know if you run into any other problems! --make sure you dont get any brake fluid spilled...as you can see, i was a bit sloppy and my paint on the clutch master cylinder has slightly been corroded
