89 carb. stalls will not start

I got myself a prelude S thought Id try the carb modle. When I got this car whenever I would run it for awhile it would throw me a short miss once in awhile, nothing big just thought it needed a tune up, now it dosnt just miss, it will putter till it stalls and it will not start back up. Ive narrowed the problem to this. The car will fire right up and run like a champ as soon as it hits normal operating temp, it will start to putter until it leaves me dead in the middle of the road, after sitting and the engine temp drops just a bit it will fire rightt back up again until doing the same thing as soon as it hits normal temp again I cannot figure this problem out why does it only happen when the engine is warm if this has happened to anyone or anyone knows the answer could you please help Thanks. It is a 5 speed.

A few questions come to mind: what is the outside air temp and relative humidity? (this reminds me of my Datsun. when it was about 40 deg and damp, ice would form in the carburator. I had to add an air pre-heater to eliminate the prob). Also, have you checked the ECU fault codes? See the post listed as how to check fault codes.

^Download the manual in my sig, it also has a step by step diagnosing chart for your CARB system.
