I had one, made by Ko_Si. It was amazing, but he's been LONG gone from the Prelude game...

There is a GB on his shifters, but it doesnt look like it's going through...

Sorry man, no known short shifters for our car...

is the throw on your short shifter a lot shorter compared to stock?

It's very easy to make man.... you can cut it yourself, take it to a muffler shop and just have them weld it together or you can weld it yourself if you know how.

i agree with team123luder.
If you know how to weld it's very simple to make.

why not just remove the knob and hack an inch or 2 off, drill tiny corresponding holes in the top to match up with the after market knob?

Because you need to change the fulcrum point to get the short shift action other wise you would just have the same throw with a shorter shifting handle.

I like that idea guessman!

I really need to get on making a short shifter for my 'Lude. The 'ol white one I had one made. Neglected to take it out when I traded it in.

Quicker shifting adds for a really fun ride. Less effort to shift between gears. It's like nodding the hand and your butt is in a new gear, based on if you know how to hit the gas too.

However the short shift "kits" are crap... they're best bet is to convert over to 4th gen shifter+cables and get a forbidden SS.

You must mount the 4th gen shifter further back in order for the forbidden shifter to work... or just don't install the center console.
