ECU differences

My old ECU (which shows a fault code 6 and troubleshooting shows the fault to be IN the ECU) has a p/n of 37820-PK3-A00. (car is a 90 Si, originally with a 2.1, but now running a B20A5 with the B21A1 intake, throtle body and harness).
What does the -A00 mean, if anything?
I have found and ECU with -L00 and another with -L10. Would these work ok?
