Welcome Honda Mike.
I understand that you need help and I am happy to try and help as are many here.
That being said, as a courtesy to you, I would suggest doing a search for these issues. You will be surprised at how much information is available if you look for it.

Please post pictures, not only because I am nosy and want to see your car but also because it can help at times as we may see things you do not.

I had the same problem not too long ago. All it was, was a bad plug wire....but I'm not assuming this could be your problem.

Check for stored codes in the ECU. Is the CEL (Check Engine Light) on?

Hmm... 1funryd should know what axles you need. As for those codes, I don't know them for your swap, but someone here will help you.

The most likely reason you cannot rev up is because the ECU is in 'limp mode'. Most times you have stored codes, the ECU goes into limp mode.

Im new to this territory, pleAse help. im trying to keep the 3rd gen prelude alive.
1. Who did you trade this with?
2. Which mounts are you using for the swap?
3. Are using the P13 ECU for this motor?
4. Axles can be made for you, just call Marty at Raxles.com and he can set you up.
5. What wiring harness are you using? www.rywire.com or custom made by a user.
6. Code 1 = Oxygen Content, could be O2 sensor & 20 = ELD. We do not have ELD on our chassis, so that is why you are throwing this code. A chipped P28 can take care of this issue by disabling it on the ECU.

We need more information about your swap to help determine the issues.

The reason I ask these questions is beause the first set of H22 mounts were made by a company called PRI, they went out of business and their mounts site differently than the second set which I had contracted a company called AZ Race and Machine, who also went out of business.

The 3rd set of mounts are made by Explicit Speed Performance, they copied my AZ kit but in steel and made some adjustments.

The AZ kit and ESP kit sit fairly similar so Raxles.com can help make a proper set of axles for you.

The PRI kit needs to also be custom made but Marty from Raxles.com can help you get the proper measurements so that his axles will fit your H22 swap.

There are length differences, thats why its important.

Is your lude a white 88 lude with a Xenon front lip? If it is, then your setup is kind of messed up, and you will need to clean it up to run right.

My recommendations, is to replace your wiring harness with a ww.rywire.com or wireworx H22 engine harness, and convert from OBD2 to OBD1 on the engine harness. The jumper harness you have may or may not be needed, but if you can wait until WireWorx completes their MilSpec harness specifically for the 88-91 ludes, it may solve some issues.

But the limp mode sound like you need a tune. You need to take the lude to a tuner to help you sort some things out.

Let me know if your mounts are yellow, those are the PRI mounts.

My lude is red, all stock except for the h22a4. My mounts are sliver with red bushings... when i first got the car it ran and drove great( minus the axles). Untill 7/7/12 thats when the issue started..

Here you go:

Oh wait that is Chris72lude's Lude... Did you trade him a truck?

He was trying to sell his H22 swapped 3rd gen due to his truck breaking down, and he had no choice because he need to make money. He can help you out with those issues.

Just call him. Those are my H22 mounts, just ask him what axle setup he used, I believe he was using 90-90 Honda Accord axles, the 5 speed ones.

Where should i start looking for my bogging down issue, i started this morning ran great for 2hrs then it started that. The fuel pressure gage showz 25psi, running with no issue. But fluctuate between15-20 psi when the issues start

Yes an O2 can cause bogging issues, but not always. You will need to search for H22 bogging. I would check the 4th and 5th gen sections to see what they have come up with, because the bogging issue is a common problem, but there are different reasons why it would do it.
