Re: raise compression help???

What other ways are good? Pistons with a different head design I know for sure. Some people mill their heads a little which isn't necessarily a good thing to do. What about pistons rods/crank that support a longer stroke? Is that a possibility on a b20?

Re: raise compression help???

Are you trying to raise the compression or compression ratio?

Assuming you meant compression. You'll need to do a wet compression test to determine if it's rings. If the compression doesn't go up when you test it wet then it's likely a problem with either the valves or head gasket. If the numbers go up when you test it wet it's piston rings.

Re: raise compression help???

The best way to raise the compression ratio is with some pistons. But you might need to run Premium gasoline after a certain point.
