Your Opinions Please.

Hello all. I was thinking of picking this car up, but I'd like your opinions and I had a couple questions.

The car needs a trans, a quick look around and I found one for $250 on feebay.

If I go check this out, anything I should look for or ask the seller. I'm more than familiar with the Honda cancer that the listing mentions and says isn't a big deal (I'll be the judge of that!)

Think $900 is a good deal? Trans easy enough to put in? I've done work like that before. How can I tell if its 4ws? I'm guessing its not since he didn't mention it. Can you put 4ws in a non-4ws?

Talk it up guys.

Re: Your Opinions Please.

Seems like an excellent deal. For $1150.00 you'll have a runner.

Honestly I would jump on it. and four wheel streering would be just behind the rear sub frame and its just a little motor with two arms extending to both knuckles

Re: Your Opinions Please.

Fah, don't work so hard. Look under the car and see if there is a little box, looks like a rwd unit, will actually have 4WS stamped on it. He painted the B pillar so you gotta look.

Don't add it if the car doesn't come with it. It's a difficult job, if you have never done that swap before. The only thing wrong about the transmission not working is you will not know more about that rebuild unless he presents a receipt, and that only proves he paid for it. The price is right to look into the car. Good luck.
