pa sensor

Why does the Alldata site show the location of the PA sensor ( absolute pressure) right above the ECU? I thought it was on the firewall? I saw about 20 in various junkyards but it looks like mines the only one that has it on the firewall.

Re: pa sensor

4th gens are on the firewall since they need to be connected to the engine via a vacuum hose.
Download the manual and see where it is for your specific year/engine.

And its MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure)

Re: pa sensor

No , the MAP sensor is in the little black box on the firewall. This is called the PA sensor and it's talked about in Alldata and it's for 3rd gens.

Re: pa sensor

Was told a long time ago that this is the PA sensor even though Alldata shows it above the ECM. Anybody out there got a 91 5-speed lude with a b20a5? See if you have it as well. Can't get my egr solenoid to work the vacuum going to the egr valve and this might be one of the parameters that controls it.No codes Check out the pic. Yes this is a 3rd gen.
