`91si. Less than a year engine was kinda surging on normal acceleration (5-speed) and wanted to die while driving at low R's could recover if you mashed to or beyond 1/2 throttle. Never did shut down, but did a lot of stumbling. And would recover and drive normal. This problem was under 3000rpm clear above 3000rpm. Had code for O2 sen. So $240 for a Honda sensor at dealer. Everything fine, for 8-9 months. Now same thing, except not a single blink on OBD. So what do you think? Not another O2 not without a code , right? I ran a couple tank fulls of regular. could that be it? Are the bosh O2's any good? They are $66. This car is stock. 236+k miles.but maintained. So how are we going to fix it?:/

sounds fuel delivery related. I bet it's the fuel pump ...

Yes it does sound fuel related. I did replace filter the 1st round. And fuel pump was going to be my next move, then I had the O2 code last time and the O2 fixed it. So a pump may be the thing to do now. Hmm, which fuel pump MFG. Honda is pricy and may be no longer available. I drove it today and it drove great till it was at normal temp. Then it stumbles bad right off the clutch, then mash throttle 3/4 and it catches and snaps your head. then 2nd 3rd and on same thing. And while in 5th say at 55mph I can slow down staying in 5th slow down to around 2700rpm and it will stumble. Again I need to know which fuel pump is the right one to buy.

That's no big deal...mine had 235k miles in 2008 when I swapped the engine. Now it has 270k miles and still going strong. I've seen 3rd gens in junkyards with over 350k miles on them, and were there because they were wrecked. You are aware that Honda's are known for their longevity aren't you?
