Need Flywheel Advice

My flywheel has been turned down too much and I'm trying to find another one for my 89 Predlude 4WS Si? Any ideas? Recommendations?

What do you use the car for and how much do you want to spend? Is your car basically stock? Are you boosted? If this is a daily driver, I'd stick with a stock flywheel.

I can't purchase OEM. It is a daily driver. Car is stock. Any particular brands you recommend?

Re: Need Flywheel Advice

I know you can't buy them from Honda anymore, I meant a stock type flywheel. As opposed to a lightened fly. I grabbed the one I'm using from a junkyard, so I don't have any brand recommendations for you...sorry. It's getting tougher to find them new. Maybe try ebay and see what they have. Just make sure that you are searching for one to fit an 88 or 89 Prelude. 90/91 flywheels are different, and won't work with the clutch kit for your 89.

Re: Need Flywheel Advice

I have a competition clutch 8 pounder, It makes the engine slow down really fast, but it also kicks in real quick too..
All i can say is i should have stayed with a heaver one and not gone for the ultra light.. I have to rev higer than usual when leaving a light and if i dont give enough throttle the dash will shake like crazy. unless u plan to stay up there in the rpms, its unnecessary and an inconvenience from day to day..

and i just checked for your vehicle, oddly enough they only make flywheels for the h23...
