Re: the back seat

They're pretty much a 2+2 car. Not a soccer mom vehicle at all. A sporty car really isn't designed to transport a bunch of people while zipping around corners better than any other car on the road. Just my two cents that's all. Anyone agree?

They are pretty small, but they weigh next to nothing. Why take them out? You can shed about as much weight if you take a good sh!t.

Re: the back seat

You could always take them out and fabricate something in replace of the space... You can do almost anything with fiberglass. It looks trashy with them out. They litterally weigh nothing. Take them out and look they just snap in and out. Or you could build a dope system and custom the xubs and amp in the backseat and still have truck space... or go all the way back?? I have leather seats still from my 96 in my garage and maybe weigh like 5 lbs max....

3rd gen rear seats don't just snap in and out. The seat back has a clip that needs to be removed, then it just slides out. You need to remove two bolts to get the bottom section out, after removing the seat back.

Re: the back seat

Dude wtf....this is such a useless thread. Just take out the damn backseat. It's pointless unless your tall and feel cramped up if someone is sitting behind you.

Unless you're trying to shed every pound in the car, why remove it? It looks like crap with the seat out. And you can actually have someone sit back there if needed.

Re: the back seat

dpending on what your going to be doing id leave them alone unless like me when i go to the races i take the rear seats out just so if anyone i take has "friends" that want to tag along and weigh down the car i can really say sorry i only have room for 1 passenger. but you will get more road noise though if you take them out.

Re: the back seat

coming from a 2-seater, those backseats are handy! i've had to squeeze 2 chicks sitting shotgun in my z several times and it sucks!
