Why is that?

You do not need to change anything on the interior of the lude in regards to teh wiring if its a straight swap.

The engine harness off of your old motor should have been kept and is what will plug to the interior harness at the passenger side shock tower.

Re: 3rd gen prelude wiring harness trouble!

I've learned that the OBD0 computer will only fit the OBD0 harness. You probably don't need to replace the harness at all.

Lets be clear because you are not explaining your situation clearly enough for me or anyone else to understand.

So you are asking if you can use your B21a1 harness on your B21a1 motor?

If so, then yes.

I do not see where the problem is here. How can you have a different engine harness when you are just swapping the motors only?

Unless you are using the engine harness from the newer B21a1 and you are not sure what harness it is.

If so, to make things really simple, just take off your old engine harness from the old B21a1 motor and use that harness instead of the newer harness that came with your newer B21a1 motor.

Does that make it clear and simple enough???
