Could really use your help!

Hey, I hope this is the right place to post this?!?!

I own a 1991 Honda Prelude. Its automatic and 4WS.

I have had no problems until today... well I'm not sure if its actually a problem.

Today while driving the 'S' light on my dashboard started to flash. (this is the 'S' light the usually turns on when you push the Sport button on the gear stick). Shortly after that then the 4WS light turned on and about ten minutes after that the 'Check' light came on too! After heading home I thought my transmission fluid was the problem but it was topped up. To top it of my speedometre now sits on zero and does not move at all. The car starts fine and still runs smoothly but these lights are starting to worry me...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The VSS sounds like a likely culprit -- both the 4WS system and the transmission shift logic rely on inputs from it. The check engine light could be related...can't tell there without knowing what code it's displaying.

Re: Could really use your help!

Its your VSS sensor and it needs to be replaced.

Its all interconnected to all the issues you are having.
