Has anyone ported our head and is it possible?

And to price for a H22 swap...if u could get all the machining done for free would u do it?

I've always read that even if you port heads, You'll only get about 3-5 horsepower gains. A lot of money for almost nothing. An upgrade will give more than 3 horsepower.

You'll get more gain than that if it's done properly. But if you do it wrong you'll probably lose power. There are a few guys that have done it with good results. At least that's what they say on another forum.

Sean estimates H22 swaps to be 4k I think? They used to go up to 6k.

You sir are exaggerating...it's only a little over 5,700 posts. And I've been a member since 2006. So that's only an average of less than 3 posts per day.

What machine work would you want to do for an h22 swap? Are you planning on rebuilding it before installing it? Probably not a bad idea, but I doubt most people who've done this swap do that.
