rear upper control arm

so still battling with the suspension after i was forced into a curb...stupid bish driver in a big ass truck.. Anyways, i replaced the lower control arm, trailing arm, the entire rear hub but now it turns out the rear upper control arm is shot hard core. Anyone else ever replace these? This guy who owns tireman up in toledo (helped his wife out on the side of the road and now his wife loves me lol) was like well i can get you the part, the junk yard wants 75 bucks (Ebay wants 20) and labor is like 80 an hour for you, so i'd be looking at around 150 bucks for all this.

Question is, would you say replacing this part is easier then swapping the trans or harder? I rather save myself like 130 bucks and do it myself

Re: rear upper control arm

3 nuts and a bit of hammering and it's out. Very easy job to replace

Easier than swapping the tranny? LOL, definitely! It's not hard to replace the upper control arms.

Re: rear upper control arm

changing out a UCA is super easy and would probably take 45min.-1hr from taking it apart and then putting it all back together

Hell, I bought mine new from honda for 250. It only took me bout an hour to replace and it came with the new ball joint but I didn't use it.
