Re: Going to look at an 87 lude

That looks like a pretty clean 2nd gen. Not sure about the price though, seems a little high for a private party sale. The biggest thing to look for IMHO is rust. Check the rear wheel wells, around the gas filler door, around the rear window and sunroof areas. Make sure there is no bubbling paint or visible rust. Anything mechanical can be repaired or replaced pretty easily, but rust is more difficult and expensive to deal with.

And just so you know, this is an S model, which means it's carb'd and not fuel injected.

LMAO I had to look twice and see what section this was in. Just ask when the maintenance was done.It looks pretty clean from the pics. Keep us posted.

Still keeping the 4th gen?

Im keeping the fourth gen 'til I die. lol Im looking for something to drive while i get the bodywork and paint done on it. I figured it would be cool to have another lude. Im also going to look at an 83 civic hatchback with 70,000 miles. It looks clean in the pictures my dad snapped of it.
