Re: about done

any car over 20 years old will have problems, headaches, heartaches and the full range of emotions.

I put a lot of money in my Prelude too. Most of us on the board or just most 3rd gen Prelude owners probably have. You're just venting out we understand.

So what's the problem with the car now?

hahaha. I think it does mean money pit.
if you love the car, keep going, if not let her go. No matter how much I hate mine at times, I can't part with her.

Re: about done

It seems I'm following the same path- throwing money at my '93 Lude to keep it running. Money is too tight to fix everything all at once, and little things keep popping up. Very frustrating.

Re: about done

they are old cars, it gonna take some money to get it the way you want. some will cost more than others due to abusive previous owners. if you were going to get mad because you had to put some money into your lude then you shouldn't have bought it in the first place. not trying to be a dick but this goes with all old cars.

As for your question,
Prelude has two definitions:
1.a preliminary to an action, event, condition, or work of broader scope and higher importance.

2.any action, event, comment, etc. that precedes something else

It went through the slalom at 65.5 mph (105.4 km/h), an amazing result for the time. For reference, the 1988 Corvette took the same course at 64.9 mph (104.4 km/h).
