looking for a B20a5 head for sale??

I am looking for a B20a5 head. i have an 89 preldue 2.0SI DOHC. The cam gear pulley broke of the camshaft and thru timing way out and I believe the valves are bent. Any help or advice greatly appreciated, I am a fairly new prelude owner and I have to say I LOVE THIS CAR.

I personally don't see the reason to get a new head, that would require essentially taking apart the entire motor. If you have the time and resources I say rebuild your head. You should at the least open it up to inspect for damage. You may be lucky have no bent valves.

^^ while i do agree with you. i must say, if the valves are bent, it will be cheaper to go to a junk yard or somthing and just buy a whole head. but still, you should inspect it

Better do a compression check first to find out if any valves are bent.

Re: looking for a B20a5 head for sale??

You still have to take the cam bearings out to get to the head bolts so get a new timing belt and a good cam from a junkyard and it might run fine. Still don't understand the pulley thing you mentioned. There's a gear on the end of the cam but the only pulleys involved are driven off the timing belt like the water pump and the tensioner pulley.
