Get the throttle position sensor,ECU, Idle control valve, EGR, Distributor. All of that stuff is pretty much obselete at auto stores and dealers. Can still get the idle control valve. The auto ecm is different from the manual ecm. B21 ECM'S WON'T WORK ON B20 ENGINES. sPARE PARTS IS WHAT YOU NEED.

LOL I predicted something like that would happen. Were you stock height or lowered? I'm still stock.

haha I feel for you, I'm happy I'm not dropped yet. That volvo lip might work just fine since I'm stock height, hopefully it doesn't look like ass when I get it. I didn't go today I've been selling some stuff and my buyer flaked on me.

Re: Pick N Pull shopping list

Fuel rails, manifolds:intake and headers, throttle bodies, sensors. I can't stressmthat enough. Take the head off and see if the bottom end is clean, take one or two, the going rate is around 100.00-150.00. Rebuild and install. Cheaper than whole engine!

Oh yeah. You forgot 4ws system. If they have it. Get mirrors, lights, and harnesses, fuse panel, main relays, a/c compressor. All these are cheap in comparison. Really take a once-over your prelude. You might spend 500.00 in total, but be covered for 5 years no prob!

Re: Pick N Pull shopping list

if you have the money, grab every thing salvageable you can find engine wise. on cosmetics, grab what you need save your money for the engine. i cant stand seeing a car with a wide body kit rims lowered and decked out interior with a stock engine. that dosent make sense. if a car looks fast it should be fast. if a car looks slow, it can be fast and embarrass the hell out of a mustang

Re: Pick N Pull shopping list

The thing is we don't have much choice when it comes to our motors; we either go turbo, stay stock, or swap, though I agree on the motor parts Jared, I'm tight on cash, but I'm getting it. I'm missing a few body parts and want some lips since they're cheap.

I'm going to research the b21 head on an a5 block for the future turbo build. I read somewhere that it lowers compression? Feedback while I search?

Re: Pick N Pull shopping list

Sorry. Are you saying that you can't turbo a b20a5 without putting the b21 head on it?

No, not in any way. I just would like lower compression for more boost! I'm not going to turbo for another year if everything goes as planned. Iirc the B21 head is better flowing. In my town everyone plays with their little integras and civics. It's all about jdm in my town.
