Icon5 Left turn wheel clunk - 88 4WS

Hi all,
First time post.
I have inherited an 88 Prelude Si 4WS and would really love to keep it going.
It's been winter stored and only has 64000km, that's 40000 miles for the US folks.
I've just noticed a slight clunking coming from the rear pass. wheel when making left turns.
Any suggestions before I pull apart the back end?

Thanks
/g/

Wow, that's uber low mileage.

Possibly bad upper control arm bushings. Or maybe a bad strut mount. Did you make sure the lug nuts are tight? lol

That clunk could be super serious lol, i couldn't figure out what it was then i was like eff it and drove to arkansas. (its like 13 hours away from me) then i drove back (another 13 hours) it turned out to be the bushing on the upper control arm, that connected the arm to the frame of the car, causing the wheel to shake violently left and right and ripping a brand new 200 dollar tire to the wires...

We don't have u-joints. We have CV joints, but only on the front. He said the noise is coming from the rear.

Thanks for the quick replies!
I'll be putting up on blocks for the winter in a couple of weeks, so I can get in there to see what's up. The 4WS doesn't seem too complicated, so I think I can muddle it through.
Thanks

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the 4ws system itself. It's pretty bullet-proof. It could be an inner tie rod end on the rear steering rack, but with that low of mileage I seriously doubt it.
