Re: Over Heatinggggg

Check for leaking coolant, coolant can leak from your water pump if it fails. A compression test will help you figure if you have a bad head gasket.

Re: Over Heatinggggg

I think the most easily looked over thing but the simplest is the condition of the coolant in the engine? When was the last time you flushed it? Yes you have obviously done some work that required that you add (new coolant) but have you ever had all of the coolant in your system flushed? Just a thought.

New radiator, hoses, thermostat, fans are working properly as of yesterday.my overflow is bubbling after bout ten min drive time. If the head gasket popped wouldn't there be water I the oil? Plus heat gauge is twitchy and I know im overheating for a fact...

Re: Over Heatinggggg

Is your mix right? 50/50. Coolant fresh? And you could try bleeding the cooling system.

Not necessarily. Depends on which section of head gasket popped. Leak down test may be in order.

JoshuaaXD doesn't believe thermostats exist. He regulates the temperature of his motor by taking advantage of the sloped hood design which dates back to the 2nd generation Honda Prelude.

I'll buy you some green beans from Centromart if anyone understands the above reference haha.

Re: Over Heatinggggg

Well I bled the air out of the system yesterday and it hasn't overheated since. I think that did the trick hopefully. I pulled on a miata last night and all I saw was head lights in the distance. Ha I hope it stays that way

LOL Your car stopped overheating so you decided to race a Mazda. I will pray for a long trouble free life for your motor man.
