Gas hand always reads full is it a wiring or something else

probably a stuck needle, it happens but i've seen it happen to the series one 3rd gens more often...meaning the 88-89 Preludes.

because your car is one of the few that produces gas so you never fill it. if the yellow gas light ever comes on, take it to the dealership and tell em you want it removed

Funny, but not particularly helpful.

It can be the fuel gauge itself or maybe the fuel sending unit has stopped working. Could also be a wiring issue. It's easy enough to try another gauge cluster to verify the fuel gauge if you can find one at the junkyard.

I have the very same problem... But with mine, both the temperature needle and the gas needle stay at the top. I think mine might be do to wiring, but hopefully others can comment and give some advice.
