New kid on the block

I thought that it was time to show you guys my 1990 prelude si that i have had for over a month now.

I will get some more recent pics later today, so far i have replaced all the good stuff, spark plugs, wires, new gakets, alternator, and a custom CAI, painted valve covers, and removed the gay stickers.

I have some plans for ex. lowering, and tint and different exhaust (stock one is rusted to hell and back) and mabye different rims

Let me know what you guys think.

Re: New kid on the block

yea I cant see the pics either, but welcome to the site, I used to have a 91 si, I loved that car it was so much fun to drive. I really want another one! I guess the 5th gen will suffice for now though. Enjoy your prelude and take care of it, this site is very helpful.

Welcome to Preludezone.

We like 3rd gens around these parts. So hard to find clean examples. So get those pics working!

I aslo have a question now,(tried to search it, but nothing) saturday i stopped at the gas station got gas and on the way home my battery light would flicker every now and then, so i get home it's running fine and i shut it of. i go to start it the next day and it will start, but when i let go of the key it shuts of (i can hold in and it runs but i dont want to screw up my starter)

btw, i did get it to start later sunday nite and it ran fine when i drove it.

Re: New kid on the block

If the battery lights flickering it could be a rusted ground or a symptom of an alternator going bad, btw did you paint your center counsel

Re: New kid on the block

if you didnt notice yet, it used to be black then it had a horrible red paint job. But if you look closely at the interior you can see that almost all of the plastic pieces were white t one time (change holder, center counsel, air vents, ash tray, and speacker covers) so the interior is going to need some tlc

btw i think i found out what the problem was about my car starting,it is the ignition starter switch, and fuel pump.

Re: New kid on the block

Clean lookin 3g bro, looks like you found a good car to start on. Time to get to de-ricing, lol. All the interior parts come out relativly easy, just give them a light sanding and spray them down with primer and black paint and she will look good as new.

By the way, the wheels are very commen, I see them alot but I think they look especialy good on your lude.
