getting pissed

ok i yanked the head back off only to find my new head gasket blown

i double checked and it WAS CORRECTLY installed BUT it is a head gasket labeled B20a3 - B20a5

my engine is a B20A and the parts stores around here have not a clue as how to locate the proper gasket for my car, so they GAVE me a replacement for the 45 dollar gasket that was shot and told me to modify it to fit I.E. cut hole in gasket so as to let the water flow into the head.

like a dumbass i said ok

what i want to know is my B20A block a JDM 160 hp ?
and if so where on god's green earth can i find stuff for it?

oh yea i also want to know if the head could be wrong for my car ( i know the p/o had the engine replace a while back and had overheating issues immediatly)

the 160hp b20a is from the 2nd gen Accord/Prelude, that's not the headgasket you want.

Dont you have an b20a3, S model? then you certainly need the pk1 headgasket for shizzy.

Pk1-b20a3
pk2-b20a, b20a5
pk3-b21a1
