How do you make your shift boot flush??

I recently purchased a new shift nob.

But I cant seem to keep the boot up....

As of right now I have a zip tie on the inside holding the boot sort close to the shifter. But it still slides up and down....

Is there a way to lock the boot in place. Make it flush. But still able to remove if needed.
