You're in the UK right?

I use 10w-30 as i have similar temperatures as you do. . .

Well in my sisters 3rd gen i used 20-50 but that was due to all the leaks it had so i needed a thicker oil to slow down the leaks. But it depends on how your car is running and how you want it to run.Normally people here in the us run 10-40 which is in the norm. And for all those Die hard racer who can afford run full synthetic oil.So it all depends. The higher the number go the thicker the oil gets. The low the number go the thinner it gets.Which means if you had a leak somewhere, it'll run like water thru there.

I used to run synthetic Castrol with a K&N filter for at least 7 months.
Did it help?
HELL YAH.
Is/was it worth it.
HELL NO.

I did pricey-ass oil changes, trying to slow down my b21 oil burning.
I even used oil additive such as Lucas oil, which is a good product once in a while IMO.

stick with regular oil.

WHATS UP RAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

indeed Lucas oil is a nice treat for your car every other oil change is what i go for...but then again i change my oil ever 2000 miles instead of the 3000....but i run 10-40 since my oil cooler is shot and leaking....so thick slows it down a little lol
