88 si throttle problem

So I've been having this wierd problem with my 88 during deceleration. It's a fuel injected B20A5 with a PK2 head and the problem occures when I have it in gear and completely off the gas during deceleration. After about 8 seconds if I dont touch the gas or let it drop to an idle the rpm's get stuck and wont drop to idle. The only way to get it to drop to an idle is to turn the key off and back on. Its the damndest thing and its really annoying any insight would be much appreciated.

Re: 88 si throttle problem

Your throttle could be sticking "open" slightly, Ive had the same problem recently....

Under common problems 12th one down may be able to help.

With mine, since it is an 88 I had some build up in the TB. So I dab'd some pb blaster on a cloth and wiped it off and whuuuuala
