Lil' engine help please!

So I've replaced a bunch of gaskets and o-rings, from the vavle cover gasket to the distributor o-ring. I'm going to change the seal on the PS pump to stop that one, but there's ONE leak thats killing me....and I'm having a little trouble locating it. I'm thinking the problem lies in the Oil Pressure Switch....

has anyone replaced one of these and where exactly the F*#K is it?!?! I know on the backside of the block, near the oil filter.

Is it the lil sucker directly above the oil filter? with the wire coming out of it? (if yes, where does the wire hook to? b/c mine was not hooked up to anything, but the ends were exposed)....

any help is much appreciated friends!

Re: Lil' engine help please!

I think its your oil cooler O-ring that is leaking and not the oil sending unit.

Get you a mirror and confirm that its not the sending unit. I can check and see where the wire for the sending unit ends up going to if you want, but I don't know off the top of my head.

Re: Lil' engine help please!

The wire coming out from the block above the oil filter (I believe is the Oil Pressure Regulator...) It goes to the wire harness. Not sure exactly where...cant remember. Mine stripped out when removing the Intake Manifold. Had to replace it with a homemade one...

Re: Lil' engine help please!

The Only way you gonna find the P.I.T.A, is to degrease the area the leak is coming from, hit it with compressed air to clean it and then start it. It could be that damn rear cam seal, they leak like I dunno what. Let us know.
