Icon1 HELP!!

I have a 1990 Prelude 2.0si and I have managed to pull the right side door speaker grille off trying to replace the speaker. Do i have to pull the whole door panel off to replace the speaker or are there any tricks for doing it??

Re: HELP!!

bELIEVE IT OR NOT.... YOU DO . not too difficult at all. Try popping all the front and lower locks out off the panel and you still might be able to get a short screwdriver behind to get it out.

Re: HELP!!

Its pretty easy to get off, but putting it back on can be a pain... Sometimes you'll get lucky and get it lined up perfectly on the first try.

Re: HELP!!

if you're speakers are 6.5inch in the front and rear (most 3rd gens are) then go with rockford or pioneer. i installed pioneer speakers in my lude and i like(d) them, however they did blow out but that was 100% my fault.

Re: HELP!!

I still have oem speakers in the front, and but the look of them, they look like the originals.
They blew a couple of months after I got them.

My rear speakers are pioneers (not sure which model), but I think those are heading out too.

Once my brother leaves for the Marines, I'm jacking his speakers.
