SMall problems with my prelude.

Ok, When I'm going quite fast and change gear hard there a squeaking noise when I hit the biting point. It almost sounds like the wheels spinning but its not.

And My cooling fan is coming on alot. Even after a sensible drive it comes on. It only comes on when i take the key out, as soon as I pout my key in, and turn 1 click, it'll turn off.

I'd really appreciate some help as they're starting to annoy me.

Thanks guys

i believe this is normal. my 3rd gen accord did this to when i took the key out. turn the key to the on position and the fan will turn back on.. the only time i would worry is if your fan just didnt work at all. the reason the fan turns off when the key is in the 1 (accessory) position is because just that, its only used for the radio. everything is off to conserve battery power.

Dont change gears so fast.
Get used to the clutch and shifting through the gates.
If it's a bit clunky(which after 16+ years), simply remove the shifter console and grease up the shift cables and pivot joints of your shifter assembly.

...

The fans come on even after you shut the car off.
Most Honda of the time period did that.
You'll even hear the fans turn on for around 15 mins even after the car has been off almost 4 hours!

It's one of those, "quirks."
So dont trip out.
It's natural.
