Icon8 Broken Glove box, Please help

I tried to open my glove box and it just wouldnt budge. as if it was locked. but it wasnt. i have unscrewed it but still its held on by the latch. really annoying.

any help would be appreciated

one of two things man. either its locked and you didn't realize it or the mechanizime for the latch is broke. Trust me don't try to salvage it, break it off and buy a new latch, just be carefull and don't screw up the bar that the latch hooks to.

Towards the bottom corners, there are screws you undo to remove so you can hang the glove box.
From there you can depress the lock yourself.

ok i have done what you said and i cant reach the lock from behind the glove box. is there any other way. my psp is in there. I need something to do at work

Mine is hanging by a thread. A place called myhondapartsstore.com has some replacement parts if you cant find any at a junk yard.

thanks mate. in the end i had to make a hole in it and undo it with my hand, so no glove box at the moment
