Re: i have a 3rd gen prelude

Welcome to the site.

B20a7 is hard to find because it's a Euro-version of your motor. The extra 10 hp isn't worth the hassle of locating one. There are emission differences that give it that power rating. Not much too different than the a5, probably different pistons...but yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh >

Your best bet is to do 3 things:
1) READ the 3rd gen forum stickies and resource guide.
2) Use the Search function
3) Purchase a JDM B20a Motor and call it a day.

Re: i have a 3rd gen prelude

This is why our motors are called "Bastard B series."

If you want the power, do it the good old' Prelude way.

You could always build and boost the B20.

False.
B20a's take boost just fine. They double horsepower with 6psi with a turbine.

Search. Dont give out bad information...

Well, i'd have to disagree. I boosted my car last spring, ran hard all summer at the drag strip as well as some open lapping days. Still running fine to this day. Oh, 6lbs daily driven.

gonna have to disagree mang.

As far as a full drop-in. either use another b20a5, the JDM B20A: I think that one is rated 10+ hp than the B20A5, or if you could do a B21a1 if you're desperate (I wouldn't recomend it though: burns good amount of oil)
