They are direct, bolt in swap motors. These motors are over 17 years old. Please note that all motors listed above are fuel injected(PGMFI). The "S" model is designated b20a3, which is dual carburetor. Please also note that there is also an Accord B20a which is nothing like the Prelude, b20a. A lot of engine suppliers may get this wrong. How to tell the difference? the PRELUDE b20a has the H and Honda motor co towards the left side of the valve cover(see pic above) while the ACCORD b20a has the H and Honda motor co towards the center of the motor.
