Changing ignition switch

I have a 86 prelude and I need help with changing my ignition. I dont have the keys so i cant turn it to the on position and slide it out. Does anyone know how to get the ignition to turn to the on position without keys, or know how to get the cylynder out?

Re: Changing ignition switch

Well man i wish i could help a little more, but the best i could come up with even after 20 mins of looking around is to pick it. Youtube helps a bit with that if you look hard enough for a legit video. also, not to steal you post or anything, but do you (or anybody) know where i can get a new ignition with matching door locks for a 92 lude?

Re: Changing ignition switch

Um, errr, uh... in the do it yourself section there is a service manual thread. Download one there... maybe it'll show ya how?
Try this old honda .com.

Or.... (gasp), a locksmith...
If it was a Ford I could tell ya, but never had to know how to on a Honda... yet, sorry.

This is the sorta thread you'd get a pm from the person with the answer because this forum shows up a LOT in searches... so we try not to teach the wood-bee thief if ya know what I mean.
That's why you-tube's on this subject are scarce.
