84 Prelude Idl/ignition problem...
So This is my daughters car. She was driving along and the card just died... It turned over just great but no start. I had the car towed to my house where i started some troubleshooting. I checked to make sure it was getting fuel which it was and then checked for spark. NO SPARK... I got out the Chilton manual and started to diagnose the problem. I checked the resistance/continuitiy on the ignitor module and determined that it was bad. I purchased a new module ($120

Re: 84 Prelude Idl/ignition problem...
I'm thinking rotor isn't aligned right. Timing light could help out here, but carburated hondas are a mystery to me. Could also be the carburator or vacuum pressure. Might as well go to a honda motorcycle forum, seeing your prelude is closer related.
