Parting with my bone stock 87 Lude $1700

Hello everyone I live in So Cal area , I have an 87 S.I. It's a 1 and a half owner, my dad purchased it new in Colorado. I've decided (the honda enthusiast that I am) that I really want a first gen honda insight (love the mpg). Anyways, I drive it 110 miles a day to work and have racked up 398K on the odometer, although it truely has 415K. I've been so enthralled with "hypermiling" the act of extracting as many mpg's that you can. So lately I've been babying it, more than I normally do, and am consistently getting 36-37mpg, so the engine is strong and will pass CA smog (I will smog it before I buy it). Its a 5 speed, no grinding, or hard shifting whatsoever. The only 2 things that don't work are the Cruise control, and the A/C. Last year I replaced EVERYTHING in the A/C system except for the pressure and discharge flexible hoses. Currently the discharge hose is leaking, once fixed and recharged the A/C will blow ice cold (R134A conversion has been preformed). I will include a complete suspension package I purchased 3 months ago, but haven't installed (struts, all ball joints, tie rod ends etc.... (coil springs are unavailable in stock height). Car is bone stock, blue exterior/interior. My only other option is "retiring it" per California which will give me $1700. I LOVE this car and will probably cry when parting with her, I would love to pass it on to another enthusiast that could very realistically drive her for another 200K for sure. Let me know if anyone is interested, she would make a fantastic parts car as Honda has stopped production of many parts in the last year. I will email pictures if you request, and answer anything questions you have, I've worked on her exclusively for the past 15 years. Looking to sell her in about 6 weeks.

update, $1500. I can't take any less than that, the state will give me that much at a dismantler as per the voluntary vehicle retirement program. Would like someone out there to continue driving her.....
