HELP WITH SOME 86' DX PROBLEMS!

Hey guys,

First off this is my first and hopefully not last post! I currently own a 1986 prelude DX 5 speed, as well as an 08 si coupe and am a frequent member of their 8thgen forum (under same user name).

I am having some problems though!
My beautiful 'lude is starting to make a god awful noise whenever I put it into gear at low RPM's.....sounds like a pilot or throw out bearing. If I buy a clutch kit for the car would this come with those? Is there a DIY to replace the clutch for this year?

Secondly, what are my options for a new radiator? Is OEM the best bang for buck? If you want to send me some links to where you get OEM parts that would be great as it sure is tough! I am located in Vancouver BC, however I have a mailbox in the states so I would have no problem if the site is in the U.S.

The car has been sitting for a few years now...what do you guys think I should take care of first? Fluids etc? brakes? e-brake?

Thanks!

It went through the slalom at 65.5 mph (105.4 km/h), an amazing result for the time. For reference, the 1988 Corvette took the same course at 64.9 mph (104.4 km/h).

Jared,

Glad to see this forum has at least one smart-ass. I realize there are manuals on the subject but having a DIY is by far better...mainly because it would be free and the OP can let you know problems that arise that a manual would not.

But thanks for the free bump!
