'86 Prelude SI. Need some help please

Hi im new to this website an im really glad I found it! I recently bought a 1986 Honda prelude 2.0 Si an shes mint! An has 131k on her! It has been babied her entire life an has NO rust on her! Ive owned Integras in the past (a '97, and a '94) but this is my first prelude. I bought it with a cold air intake on it an a full exhaust from the headers back an im putting her up for the winter so I can play with her. I have been interested in finding a lowering kit to drop it about 1-1.50 inches an a new exhaust an headers but cannot find ANYWHERE that sell parts for this year!? Im also trying to find a carbon fiber hood, short throw shifter, lower rear control arms, camber kits??, jdm lights for upfront ( corner lenses, headlights, fog lights?) an possible jdm type fenders. Could anyone please suggest anything!?!? I have looked on sooo mant different websites for these parts an cant find a thing. Maybe im just looking in the wrong places?? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! thanks

Cool man, so what is the master plan for your car? Cuz I got a 86 dx and a 87 SI and I'm making a frank 'N lude going from the ground up and I want to see what other people are doing and get some ideas.

Re: '86 Prelude SI. Need some help please

well im trying to lower her about an 1'' or 1.25'' and get another exhaust because mine has a very small hole about the size of a dime. second im waiting til spring then the dealership I work at the bodyshop manager is going to do some side work for me an im going to have all an any body **** up fixed an painted black and have the rims cleaned up and powdercoded black or white. I think im goin to keep the integra rims on it because thier a little larger than stock prelude rims, they look sharp as ****, an their lighter. 3rd, I would like to get a camber kit when I lower her and find a carbon fiber hood to lighten her up but keep the interior stock as possible. Im trying to find a pair of raceing seating for the front an sway bars for the front an rear to keep her planted to the ground and to comliment the lower center of gravity because of the lowering springs. Il be investing in racing brake pads for front and back and cross drilled an slotted rotors for all around. But overall, I would like it blacked out an lighter than she already is, to use for a daily driver in the summer and to be able to go out in the back country roads at night after work from time to time an show up the cavilars an older mazdas an ricer civics in my area. I would like to say by april, may she will be 100% ready. like i said though il try to get some kind of pictures up this weekend. these are just my personal like though. i would like to keep her like a sleeper look. What kind of plans do you have for your preludes?? likewise i would like to see what other people are doing to their 2ed gens for some ideas an to build off of them.

sad to say i've gone through that and most popular industries dont make it for our cars if they do it would be form 88 and up they forget about us and well the only thing u can do is custom. I know cuz ive looked through it. and btw welcome to PZ we need more 2ed gens to make them stand out of the shadows of the 4 gen.
