Low Voltage To Fuel

Can anyone tell me why I have only 2.7 volts going to my fuel pump at the harness end? I have a 1986 Prelude Dual Carb. Would the ignition coil primary drag the voltage down that far? The primary reads 2.1 ohms and the secondary reads 9,300 ohms. The ignition module is new and so are the spark plug wires, cap and rotor. The only thing I haven't replaced is the ignition coil and it looks like it's out of spec by those readings. I also have a new battery in it. The car sat for a long time and I just recently put the new ignition parts and battery in. The pump isn't turning on at all!

Re: Low Voltage To Fuel

you have high resistance in the wire my guess is that 9,300 ohms is very high (i don't have the specs for it) so i would track down the source of the resistance.

Always remember voltage drops across resistance
1986 prelude 2.0si work in progress.....
