new to honda preludes and tuning cars have general ideas but need help

I just bought my first prelude its a 91 2.0si I'm looking at upgrading the transmission to something more powerful and also rear wheel drive but I'm not familiar with engines and transmissions so I don't know what would be compatible and what not. Also looking at putting a turbo in sometime down the road and was curious the easiest route to go through would be if it would be getting a new engine or if it would be to bore out the cylinder and resleeve them and have my injectors forged and stuff along those lines thanks for all your help

Or you could just go with the Nsx Transaxle and motor. Cut out your trunk and back seat...some fab work and your set... if you wanted you could even twin turbo that motor while you at it.
